The creative eye behind iya images
My first name is Iya, just three letters and I’ve actually grown to love how simple it is.
My dad was a photographer and he captured so many images of me when I was younger.
Iya Images is a symbol of love for myself and the legacy he left behind.
through my lens, I hope to create that same feeling for others:
images rooted in connection and emotion
real moments that deserve to be held onto.
I am a photographer based in Las Vegas, giving myself
permission to step out of my comfort zone and into the
purpose that’s been waiting for me. I believe every little
moment carries a story and I love capturing moments
in the most natural, effortless way.
I’ve been photographing love since I was eighteen
(I'm now 23), capturing romantic memories for couples
from all over the world while working with Cashman Photo.
Night after night, I watched strangers look into each other’s
eyes under the warm, romantic dim lights and I learned
quickly that what makes a photo beautiful is the presence.
Photography became my way of witnessing presence.
My dad was also a photographer and I still feel closest to him
when I’m behind the camera. Sharing this art with him, even
from a distance anchors me. I understand now why he fell in love
with documenting life because it’s a way of holding time still,
even when everything else keeps moving. My photography is my
rebellion against forgetting and every photograph is a reminder
to slow down and FEEL.
Outside of photography, I’m a girl with a full heart and
a long bucket list. I love dancing and singing and I dream of
joining a dance studio and performing with other dancers
someday. Health is wealth so I'm very passionate about
fitness and maintaining healthy habits.. I’m always chasing
adventure. My travel dreams stretch from Hawaii to Paris,
Bali to Ibiza, NYC to Belize, with my camera packed and
ready for the next story. But no matter where I go,
my purpose stays the same: to capture love the way it
actually feels: real, intimate, emotional, and full of life.
